Senior Graphics Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create and implement sophisticated solutions that prioritize scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Develop clean, professional, and easily maintainable code.

• Analyze, optimize, and improve current graphics technologies including rendering, lighting, shaders, shadows, scene management, and more.

• Effectively schedule tasks and ensure timely completion while understanding and valuing milestones, schedules, deadlines, and efficient development methodologies.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members from various departments (e.g., Art, Design, Production).

• Expand existing projects to accommodate new hardware or devices as necessary.

• Proactively address performance and stability challenges as they arise.

• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, best practices, and adherence to standards.

• Identify bugs and issues, proposing solutions to alleviate problems.

• Maintain high product quality in conjunction with Quality Assurance.

• Support and contribute innovative ideas to game design and develop proof of concept implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a professional video game studio.

• At least one shipped game title in a rendering capacity.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong knowledge of shader languages, graphics APIs, and debugging tools.

• Experience with GPU/CPU profiling and optimization methods.

• Familiarity with Physically Based Rendering and associated concepts.

• Proficient in C/C++, including skills in refactoring, optimization, and testing.

• Comfortable researching and prototyping new technologies.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Experience with DirectX11, OpenGL 4.0, or Vulkan.
