Senior Grants and Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversees the grants and compliance systems for CRS across the global RAPID program.

• Responsible for spearheading the implementation, standardization, and ongoing enhancement of CRS policies, procedures, and operational frameworks.

• Ensures uniform and compliant application throughout participating country programs and partners within the designated RAPID portfolio.

• Maintains a coherent, high-quality, and risk-informed approach to grant management.

• Promotes institutional learning, system enhancements, and global alignment of practices to facilitate swift and accountable emergency responses.

• Leads the creation and execution of CRS RAPID emergency grants, encompassing compliance policies, procedures, and systems.

• Establishes and upholds standardized frameworks, tools, and protocols that govern grant management and compliance.

• Ensures conformity with donor regulations, CRS policies, and local government regulations.

• Provides thorough oversight of RAPID grant management functions within the assigned RAPID portfolio.

• Guarantees effective oversight of the entire grant lifecycle and operational efficiency at scale.

• Directs the design and execution of reporting frameworks and practices for RAPID.

• Establishes and maintains reporting systems and tools that facilitate effective monitoring, informed decision-making, and alignment between program, compliance, and operational functions.

• Identifies and mitigates systemic compliance and operational risks across RAPID-supported programs.

• Enhances the grants and compliance capacity of CRS staff and partners through tools, guidance, and training.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in grants management, compliance, or humanitarian operations.

• Experience supporting global or multi-country programs.

• Background in complex emergency contexts.

• Advanced understanding of donor regulations and CRS compliance systems.

• Strong capabilities in systems thinking and policy development.

• Excellent presentation, facilitation, training, mentoring, and coaching skills.

• Ability to think strategically and collaboratively solve problems.

• Capacity to lead complex global initiatives and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

• Solid knowledge of humanitarian best practices, operational standards, and evolving guidance for emergency field operations.

• Required Languages: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic is preferred.
