Senior Grant Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of proposals that require technical expertise, emphasizing quality and ongoing enhancement.

• Oversee and manage the entire grant lifecycle, which includes proposal evaluation, award management, compliance oversight, and reporting.

• Analyze and assess grant proposals, budgets, and performance in relation to organizational objectives and funding requirements.

• Ensure compliance with grant regulations, donor expectations, internal policies, and best practices in grant management.

• Create and deliver reports on grant performance, financial status, and compliance, along with recommendations for enhancements.

• Collaborate with finance teams, program managers, and external partners on activities and initiatives related to grants.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, funding opportunities, and regulatory changes to guide grant management practices and strategic decisions.

• Mentor and provide training to junior staff members.

• Drive improvements in grant management processes and practices within the team.

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Significant experience in grants management and administration.

• Proven ability to manage complex grant processes while ensuring compliance.

• In-depth knowledge of grant regulations, donor requirements, and best practices in grant management.

• Exceptional analytical abilities to evaluate grant proposals, budgets, and provide strategic recommendations.

• Proficient in grants management software and financial reporting tools.

• Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with stakeholders and team members.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple grants and priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
