This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Assess and report on the sufficiency and efficacy of system designs and controls in relation to business, operational, and control objectives.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with cross-functional teams to pinpoint, document, and enhance compliance and control design and implementation across the industry.
• Organize and conduct technical security and privacy evaluations across enterprise information systems utilizing industry frameworks.
• Plan, implement, and report on governance and assurance reviews, including validations post-remediation.
• Perform ongoing control and risk evaluations, aiding in the development and execution of assurance plans for areas deemed high-risk.
• Spearhead enhancements and innovative designs for compliance and controls on an industry-wide scale.
• Drive compliance-oriented change management initiatives within the team and throughout the organization.
• Assist management with complex matters involving internal and external auditors, as well as external regulators.
• Generate and communicate data-driven reports and updates to influence internal decision-making and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Product, R&D, Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, and other cross-functional teams.
• Over 10 years of experience in governance, risk management, or compliance.
• Familiarity with management consulting, the technology sector, financial services, and/or project management.
• Understanding of privacy and security frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, CMMC, and PCI.
• Practical experience with GRC automation platforms and tools.
• Knowledge of recognized enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Comprehension of cloud security controls and general application controls.
• Extensive experience evaluating cloud-native environments.
• Exceptional presentation and report-writing abilities.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills and experience structuring complex and ambiguous situations.
• Skills in cross-group collaboration, conflict resolution, and the ability to influence across functions and with executive-level audiences.
• Capability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Technical knowledge and experience in a SaaS environment.
• Ability to operate under pressure with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Preferred certifications include CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Background checks are mandatory.
• Must meet applicable authorization requirements to access software or technology regulated under U.S. export control laws and regulations, if applicable.
