Senior Google Workspace Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Architectural Leadership & Strategy: You will take on the overall technical responsibility for Google Workspace architectures for our large clients, from end-to-end conception to high-level design of robust, scalable solutions and strategic integration into existing complex IT landscapes.

• Leadership of Technical Requirements Management: As a central technical interface, you will translate complex business requirements into precise technical specifications and guide the engineering team during implementation.

• Shaping the Future with AI: You will drive the integration and implementation of Google Gemini and other generative AI solutions into our clients' Digital Workplace strategy to achieve measurable productivity benefits.

• Change Vision & Adoption Strategy: In collaboration with engineers, you will develop and lead change and adoption programs at a strategic level to successfully anchor cultural and process transformations in our clients and ensure maximum value creation from Google Workspace.

• Expert-Level Enablement: You will design and conduct highly specialized training sessions and workshops for IT teams and enterprise users, providing deep technical knowledge and empowering our clients.

• Ecosystem Innovation: You will act as a thought leader, actively monitoring the latest trends in the Google Workspace ecosystem and proactively introducing innovative concepts that advance our clients and our internal expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive Experience: Several years of proven professional experience in a senior consulting or architectural role within the enterprise environment.

• Deep-Dive Expertise: Excellent, in-depth expertise across the entire Google Workspace Suite, with demonstrated practical experience in implementing Google Gemini and other generative AI solutions to enhance customer productivity.

• Strategic Change Leadership: Proven success in designing and managing strategic change and adoption programs for large clients, including stakeholder management at the management level.

• Architectural Security: Strong knowledge of complex IT architectures, particularly in the areas of cloud security, identity & access management (IAM/Zero Trust), and networking to ensure enterprise-level solution designs.

• Analytical Excellence: Strong analytical and conceptual skills to quickly grasp complex technical and business challenges.

• Persuasive Communication: Proficient communication and presentation skills in both German and English, capable of preparing complex issues for C-level discussions and influencing strategic decisions.

• Trusted Advisor: Strong customer orientation and the ability to build long-term relationships at a strategic level while acting as a trusted advisor.

• Proactive Leadership: High sense of responsibility and willingness to take on technical and strategic leadership within the project context.

• Certification Advantage: Relevant Google Cloud/Workspace certifications (e.g., Google Workspace Administrator, Professional Collaboration Engineer) are a must or a significant advantage.
