Senior Golang Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend services using Go within a multi-service environment.

• Take ownership of API execution, service logic, integration workflows, and ensure production-level error management.

• Utilize OpenAPI alongside generated client/server layers in a contract-first development approach.

• Enhance test coverage, service reliability, observability, and readiness for deployment.

• Collaborate effectively with DevOps, QA, and other backend teams for successful delivery and issue resolution.

• Elevate engineering standards throughout the codebase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level expertise in Golang backend development.

• Demonstrated experience in building and managing distributed systems or microservices in a production environment.

• Profound understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, concurrency, error management, and service lifecycle governance in Go.

• Familiarity with API contracts, Swagger or OpenAPI, and the workflows of generated code.

• Proficient in Docker and CI/CD-driven deployment processes.

• Background in automated testing, encompassing both integration and service-level testing.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Azure services or integrations with cloud platforms.

• Nice to Have: Experience with MongoDB, SQL databases, messaging systems, or edge/IoT platforms.
