Senior Go Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable and dependable backend services utilizing Go.

• Contribute to the technical roadmap and advancement of core integration platforms.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate services across the platform.

• Design and enhance data transformation processes to guarantee accuracy and efficiency.

• Architect, deploy, and manage containerized services using Kubernetes and Terraform.

• Implement best practices for code quality, security, observability, and scalability.

• Build and uphold monitoring solutions to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration, data processing, and deployments.

• Engage in technical discussions, design reviews, and solution definition.

• Foster team growth through knowledge sharing and mentoring as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• Strong practical experience with Go (Golang).

• Proficient with container technologies and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.

• Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience or knowledge of event-driven architectures is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
