This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Evaluate player behavior throughout the entire lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, monetization, churn, and reactivation.
• Discover opportunities and risks through player segmentation, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention analysis, and behavioral pattern analysis.
• Develop and assess A/B tests and other experiments, including hypothesis formulation, sample-size calculation, metric selection, statistical validation, and result interpretation.
• Assess the performance of game features, promotions, events, bonuses, and marketing campaigns.
• Establish and uphold essential product metrics and analytical frameworks for various games and player segments.
• Create dashboards and regular reports that enable stakeholders to track product performance and make prompt decisions.
• Examine unusual fluctuations in KPIs and identify their root causes and business implications.
• Convert complex analytical insights into straightforward recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and game teams to clarify analytical needs before the launch of new features or initiatives.
• Work alongside Data Engineers to enhance data quality, tracking scope, data models, and analytical datasets.
• Advocate for consistent analytical standards and promote data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
• Over 5 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, business intelligence, or a related area.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in gaming, online entertainment, betting, or quantitative research in finance, or another high-volume digital product environment.
• Publication of statistics-related research in an SCI-indexed journal is an advantage.
• Proficient SQL skills and experience handling large-scale datasets.
• Strong grasp of product and gaming metrics, including DAU/MAU, retention, churn, conversion, ARPU, ARPPU, payer rate, LTV, and player value.
• Solid foundation in statistics, hypothesis testing, experimental design, and A/B testing.
• Proficient in using Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, or automation.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Apache Superset.
• Strong analytical mindset and the capability to transition from a business inquiry to a structured analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Experience in event-tracking design and data-quality assurance.
