This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate within cross-disciplinary teams, taking on the role of technical owner for essential gameplay features.
• Design systems that enable other engineers and content creators to quickly iterate on high-quality gameplay experiences.
• Create code paths that integrate seamlessly with all network models in Unreal Engine.
• Contribute to the internal shared technology utilized by various projects across the organization.
• Write clear, high-quality, and efficient C++ code.
• Maintain, debug, profile, and resolve issues in code to ensure optimal quality and performance.
• Document code and processes, develop debugging tools for fellow developers, and create tests to ensure coverage of existing functionalities.
• Profound expertise in C++ programming.
• Extensive familiarity with Unreal Engine and the capacity to mentor others in its use.
• Significant experience in networking and a deep understanding of multiplayer gameplay architecture.
• Knowledge of game engine architecture and associated algorithms.
• Understanding of testing methodologies for multiplayer development.
