Senior Functional Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Clarify intricate business challenges and convert needs into actionable requirements.

• Ensure that business needs are accurately captured, validated, and progressed through the development lifecycle.

• Lead stakeholder discovery for complex projects, including conducting process mapping sessions.

• Formulate problem statements, question assumptions, and identify root causes.

• Work collaboratively with Scrum Team members to guarantee that delivered solutions meet business requirements.

• Oversee UAT coordination for complex projects, including the testing process and designing test cases.

• Maintain the quality and relevance of process maps and documentation throughout an entire domain.

• Proactively offer strategic recommendations and drive enhancements based on observed outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in business analysis, Sales Operations, data analysis, or a similar field.

• More than 5 years of experience in cross-functional project leadership and communication.

• At least 3 years of experience in gathering requirements and documenting user stories.

• Over 3 years of Business Analyst or Subject Matter Expert expertise in CRM and data platforms (Salesforce, Snowflake, etc.).

• High level of proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro) and a thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (Agile/Waterfall).

• Business Analyst certifications such as CBAP, CCBA.

• Certifications in Salesforce or data tools.

• Experience in the EdTech or Publishing industry.
