Senior Functional Analyst – Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between the data team and various business units

• Evaluate usage trends and suggest enhancements for dashboards and KPIs

• Oversee data collection efficiency and offer continuous support for tool advancements

• Conduct testing and validation for dashboards, KPIs, and data pipelines

• Collect and document requirements in collaboration with stakeholders

• Develop and update specification documents (BRD, business rules, process flows, user stories)

• Ensure that dashboards accurately represent strategic KPIs

• Analyze current processes and recommend future improvements

• Perform ad-hoc analyses utilizing data

• Verify data integrity and investigate inconsistencies

• Engage in agile ceremonies

• Create test plans and tables for test cases

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Power BI – including filters, DAX, relationships, bookmarks, and RLS

• Knowledge of SQL – for executing queries related to data validation

• Familiarity with Databricks / Spark – basic understanding of data architecture and operations

• Proficient in Excel / PowerPoint – for creating executive presentations and supplementary analyses

• Understanding of requirements/test management tools (Azure DevOps)

• Skills in data testing techniques: source-to-target comparison, integrity, and completeness validation

• Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and functional validation scripts

• Advanced English proficiency for effective communication with global teams
