Senior Fullstack Software Engineer – Fintech, Disruption, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the planning, investigation, or scoping of a project that you will lead.

• Providing mentorship to fellow team members.

• Utilizing AI agents and LLMs to produce production-ready code, while concentrating on high-level architectural alignment and the achievement of business goals.

• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in AI and applying this knowledge to your projects. Although Hopper promotes a low-meeting culture (with no more than 10 hours of meetings scheduled at the beginning of each week, including for managers), we value regular discussions about ongoing projects and planning for future sprints.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in full-stack development.

• Strong understanding of business, with a product-centric approach to engineering.

• Skilled in incorporating AI into daily workflows and developing autonomous agentic systems.

• Good grasp of system architecture, focusing on the design of scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Experienced in various service communication methods such as gRPC, pub/sub, and REST.

• Well-versed in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and best practices for cloud-native development.

• Familiar with deploying infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools.

• Proven track record in leading and delivering complex projects from conception through to production.

• Dedicated to improving system quality and reliability, demonstrating excellence in software engineering practices.

• Professional experience in the travel or fintech sectors, with an understanding of their unique challenges and needs.
