Senior Fullstack Engineer – Trip Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance systems that allow travel specialists to create, configure, and launch intricate travel products on a large scale.

• Convert destinations, itineraries, flights, hotels, and services into organized, dependable, and marketable products.

• Maintain flexibility and precision in product configuration while ensuring operational efficiency and long-term scalability.

• Advance capabilities that assist with smart departures, pricing strategies, booking breakdowns, payments, refunds, and wallet processes.

• Ensure financial accuracy throughout the entire product lifecycle, from configuration to checkout and post-booking activities.

• Create systems that have a direct influence on revenue performance and margin enhancement.

• Develop internal platforms and tools that enable Product, Finance, and Operations teams to function independently and effectively.

• Enhance reliability and minimize manual involvement in calendar management, flight configuration, and payment processes.

• Continuously improve system resilience, mitigating operational risks and scaling complexities without increasing overhead.

• Collaborate closely with the entire team to clarify problems prior to coding.

• Utilize data to validate hypotheses, assess business impact, and consistently enhance solutions.

• Actively engage in shaping product decisions, rather than merely executing tasks.

• Strong problem-solving orientation — you thrive on navigating ambiguous challenges and identifying optimal solutions.

• Highly adept at leveraging AI in daily tasks (coding, debugging, designing, analyzing, automating).

• Product-focused mindset: you prioritize understanding the rationale behind what you're building, not just the mechanics.

• Comfortable working with various technologies and eager to learn new ones as necessary.

• Robust understanding of RESTful API design, development, and integration best practices.

• Experience with event-driven architectures (EDA) and message-based communication between services.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles.

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices using Git (GitHub Actions or similar).

• Strong focus on testing (unit, integration) and a commitment to code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

• Understanding of observability practices — including logging, monitoring, and tracing — to ensure visibility and reliability across distributed services.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.

• Backend: PHP.

• Frontend: React, React Native.
