Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services utilizing NestJS.

• Architect APIs, caching mechanisms, queues, and distributed services for high-performance SaaS solutions.

• Create and maintain integrations with third-party systems through REST APIs (experience with SOAP is a plus).

• Work closely with frontend and product teams to deliver comprehensive product features.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and decisions regarding technical architecture.

• Utilize AI-assisted development workflows to expedite implementation, testing, and debugging processes.

• Take ownership of features from design through to production in a dynamic startup environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production SaaS applications.

• Strong proficiency in NestJS (essential).

• Experience with Redis, caching strategies, and queuing systems like RabbitMQ or equivalent.

• Significant expertise with TypeORM.

• Good understanding of Next.js and Tailwind CSS.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and integrating REST APIs.

• Experience in building scalable backend systems with asynchronous architectures.

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to effectively utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development and debugging processes.

• Familiarity with open-source AI frameworks and modern coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar.

• Ownership mentality with the capability to work independently in a remote-first setting.
