Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components using Python/FastAPI and frontend components with React, focusing primarily on backend architecture and performance.

• Build and integrate AI-driven features and systems into production applications, collaborating as necessary with data science and machine learning teams.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver new features from start to finish.

• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code that adheres to software development best practices.

• Architect and integrate cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services to ensure reliability and scalability.

• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, emphasizing performance, security, and maintainability.

• Optimize application performance throughout the stack, guaranteeing a seamless and high-quality user experience.

• Engage in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to uphold code quality standards.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the entire stack in a timely and effective manner.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI frameworks, and industry trends to continually enhance solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI for backend development, including the design, implementation, and optimization of RESTful APIs.

• Solid hands-on experience with React for frontend development, encompassing component architecture and state management.

• Proven experience working with AI systems, LLM integrations, or AI-powered applications.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or similar).

• Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to take ownership of complex technical challenges.

• Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional team settings.

• English: Advanced (required for effective communication with global teams).
