Senior Fullstack Developer, Java, JavaScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and maintain back-end services and APIs utilizing Java and contemporary frameworks.

• Collaborate with front-end and full-stack teams to facilitate seamless integration between Java and JavaScript layers.

• Create and implement microservices and distributed components in accordance with architectural best practices.

• Connect applications with databases, ensuring optimal performance and efficient data retrieval.

• Identify and resolve complex issues throughout the application stack.

• Engage in code reviews to promote clean coding practices and uphold quality standards.

• Work closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Ensure security, compliance, and reliability within a financial services setting.

• Provide support for production systems, enhance monitoring, and optimize performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Advanced English proficiency (C2) with strong communication skills in an international context.

• Experience in Java development for enterprise-level applications.

• Practical experience with JavaScript for application integrations or minor front-end enhancements.

• Solid understanding of relational databases (such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent) and SQL.

• Experience in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance services.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes.

• Proficiency in Java 8+, as well as the Spring Framework / Spring Boot.

• Experience with RESTful API development.

• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and clean coding practices.
