Senior Full Stack Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify and implement enhancements to the codebase that facilitate rapid and safe deployment for both humans and AI agents.

• Collaborate with a team of senior engineers in a trust-driven, low-process environment.

• Foster decision-making and consensus asynchronously through comprehensive documentation and specifications.

• Develop new features comprehensively — covering everything from user experience to database integration. Launch quickly, learn swiftly, and iterate.

• Design scalable solutions and foundational frameworks that enable efficient rollout of new partner experiences.

• Engage directly with Product Managers and business stakeholders to shape and refine our strategic roadmap. Your insights and technical vision are valued.

• Work alongside a diverse team, providing and receiving constructive feedback for personal and professional growth.

• A proactive approach to confidently engage with unfamiliar codebases and deliver quick results.

• Strong product-oriented mindset — your understanding of quality and architecture is rooted in enhancing customer experience rather than prioritizing technical aesthetics.

• Capability to guide AI agents and automated workflows in building and sustaining complex systems, along with the discernment to know when to intervene or allow them to operate independently.

• Experience in creating the guardrails and feedback mechanisms that ensure AI-assisted development remains efficient and reliable.

• Proficiency in, or a strong willingness to master, distributed system development in Scala.

• The ability to clearly communicate not only the methods you'd use to solve a problem but also the reasoning behind your choices and the trade-offs involved.
