This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Design, develop, and sustain scalable applications and services for our marketing, data processing, and consumer-facing web platforms.
• Create solutions that support major automotive OEM programs and hundreds of dealership clients across the nation.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to architect and deliver innovative solutions.
• Conduct research, prototype new technologies, and implement enhancements to the platform.
• Influence product direction, APIs, and technical standards with your practical engineering expertise.
• Lead projects from conception to deployment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance platform performance, scalability, reliability, and developer efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across distributed systems and production environments.
• Mentor and guide other developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.
• Engage in modern CI/CD and automated deployment workflows.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and workflows to enhance engineering productivity, code quality, testing, and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of professional software development experience in building enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in full stack .NET application development.
• Advanced proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with modern front-end development frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and related data technologies.
• Knowledge of distributed caching, search, streaming, and large-scale data platforms like Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Snowflake, Cassandra, or similar technologies.
• Solid foundation in computer science principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and application performance.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices including TDD, Automated Testing, CI/CD, and code quality tooling.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies to expedite development and problem-solving.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects to successful completion.
