Senior Full Stack Engineer – SaaS Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement full-stack features across Ruby and JavaScript applications, covering database, backend, and user interface layers.

• Take ownership of technical direction by assessing trade-offs, proposing solutions, and establishing scalable patterns and best practices.

• Collaborate across functions with product managers, business analysts, QA, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver iterative releases.

• Advocate for and practice Agile development methodologies, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Participate in software releases, collaborate with QA on testing plans, and assist with implementation strategies.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest long-term solutions.

• Provide level 3 production support for enterprise applications following their release.

• Mentor and uplift fellow engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical mentorship.

• Engage in the ongoing enhancement of engineering standards, development workflows, and system reliability.

• Investigate and leverage AI capabilities, demonstrating curiosity and enthusiasm for integrating AI-powered features and AI-assisted development workflows into the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of web applications.

• At least 5 years of practical experience with Ruby and JavaScript.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with AWS or GCP infrastructure.

• Experience in applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and building automated solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional certifications).

• Experience with AI/ML tools, APIs, or AI-assisted development workflows (preferred).
