Senior Full Stack Engineer – Ruby on Rails, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications encompassing both backend and frontend systems.

• Assume complete ownership of features from concept through to production deployment.

• Create prototypes rapidly and refine them based on user feedback and product insights.

• Leverage AI tools (such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude) to enhance development speed while applying sound engineering principles.

• Assess and enhance AI-generated code, ensuring it meets standards for quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Participate in system design, architecture, and technical decision-making processes.

• Engage with backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers as necessary.

• Collaborate with product stakeholders to establish requirements and make informed trade-offs.

• Spot gaps, inefficiencies, or product-related issues and proactively recommend enhancements.

• Uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong educational background from prestigious engineering institutions (e.g., IITs, IISc, IIITs, BITS, leading NITs, or equivalent).

• 6–10+ years of experience in software engineering, demonstrating robust full-stack capabilities.

• Extensive backend engineering experience (preferably Ruby on Rails, or equivalent depth in Python, Go, Rust).

• Solid frontend development experience utilizing modern frameworks (e.g., React or similar).

• Strong grasp of system design, APIs, and scalable architecture.

• Proven track record in building and delivering production-grade applications from start to finish.

• Demonstrated product-oriented mindset with the ability to think beyond mere implementation.

• Experience in product-driven environments where high ownership is prevalent.

• Practical experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude) in daily development tasks.

• Capability to critically assess AI-generated output and apply sound engineering judgment.

• Excellent communication skills, especially in articulating technical decisions clearly.

• High degree of autonomy, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
