Senior Software Engineer – Business Platform, Ruby/Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical elements involved in developing features for the Portal, with a focus on UX/UI and API-related tasks.

• Create high-quality software, designs, and architectural frameworks, establishing a benchmark for team excellence.

• Collaborate with Growth teams to design and enhance data-driven features, experiments, and user flows aimed at improving acquisition, activation, and retention.

• Transform acceptance criteria into operational workflows, data models, and related software designs.

• Concentrate on the complete lifecycle of the system, including its evolution, configuration, and risk management strategies.

• Maintain code quality and ensure test code coverage through thorough code reviews and test plan evaluations.

• Guide the team in generating accurate project estimates and take responsibility for the timely execution of tasks.

• Mentor and develop engineers, cultivating a culture that prioritizes professional growth to help them advance their skills.

• Inspire teams and encourage collaboration and engagement.

• Actively participate with the team, leading by example as a positive role model.

• Develop and enhance AI tools and their application within daily development workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing complex software products.

• At least 5 years of programming experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Strong defensive coding capabilities, emphasizing secure, resilient, and failure-aware system design.

• Proficiency in JavaScript.

• Familiarity with databases such as Postgres.

• Exceptional technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience with AI coding agents to accelerate the development process.
