Java Developer – Identity/Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining applications based on Java and Spring Boot.

• Concentrating on the enhancement and optimization of web platforms to provide outstanding user experiences and performance.

• Utilizing OKTA for identity and access management, ensuring secure, dependable, and scalable authentication solutions for contemporary web applications.

• Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, including architects, senior developers, and product owners, to convert business needs into innovative technical solutions that create significant impact.

• Adopting Agile methodologies as the core of our workflow, actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to produce high-quality software in an iterative and collaborative manner.

• Composing clean, efficient, and well-documented code while participating in code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 3-5 years of practical experience in Java development.

• Demonstrated expertise in Spring Boot and familiarity with OKTA (preferably) or JWT, OAuth, MFA, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Spring Security for identity and access management.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and modern web-based platforms.

• Proficiency in using Git for version control and working with SQL or NoSQL databases.

• Conversational proficiency in English.
