Senior Full Stack Engineer – Product & AI-Focused, Ruby on Rails, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications across both backend and frontend systems.

• Take complete ownership of features from ideation through to production deployment.

• Rapidly prototype and iterate based on user and product feedback.

• Utilize AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude) to enhance development while exercising sound engineering judgment.

• Assess and refine AI-generated code to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Participate in system design, architecture, and technical decision-making processes.

• Collaborate across backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers as necessary.

• Work closely with product stakeholders to define requirements and make informed trade-offs.

• Detect gaps, inefficiencies, or product issues and proactively recommend enhancements.

• Uphold high standards of code quality, testing, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong academic credentials from prestigious engineering institutions (e.g., IITs, IISc, IIITs, BITS, top NITs, or equivalent).

• 6–10+ years of experience in software engineering with substantial full-stack expertise.

• Solid backend engineering experience (preferably in Ruby on Rails, or Python, Go, Rust with equivalent proficiency).

• Robust frontend development experience using modern frameworks (e.g., React or similar).

• Deep understanding of system design, APIs, and scalable architecture.

• Proven track record of building and deploying production-grade applications from start to finish.

• Demonstrated product mindset, capable of thinking beyond mere implementation.

• Experience in product-driven environments with a strong sense of ownership.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude) in daily development tasks.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs and apply sound engineering judgment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions.

• High degree of autonomy, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
