This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
β’ Maintain and improve browser-based user interfaces developed with jQuery, Kendo UI, and Bootstrap, ensuring they perform well, are accessible, and compatible across different browsers.
β’ Lead focused initiatives for UI modernization, which include upgrading frameworks and gradually migrating to Angular and TypeScript.
β’ Design, develop, and support backend services within multi-layered .NET applications utilizing C# and ASP.NET Core.
β’ Create and utilize RESTful APIs featuring clear contracts, appropriate versioning, and secure authentication processes.
β’ Gradually refactor legacy code adhering to SOLID principles and clean architecture patterns while maintaining production stability.
β’ Design and enhance SQL Server schemas, stored procedures, and queries to guarantee optimal performance and data integrity.
β’ Oversee vulnerability remediation efforts, which encompass dependency upgrades, CVE triage, and the application of OWASP secure coding standards.
β’ Develop and uphold automated unit and integration tests to ensure regression coverage and system reliability.
β’ Contribute to improvements in the CI/CD pipeline, incorporating automated builds, testing, and security scanning.
β’ Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to facilitate smooth deployments, observability, and ongoing modernization efforts.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing production-grade .NET applications with substantial expertise in C# across both .NET Framework and .NET Core.
β’ Practical experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core.
β’ Strong SQL Server expertise, which includes schema design, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
β’ Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript with experience in jQuery-based applications, Kendo UI, and Bootstrap.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of SOLID principles, clean architecture, dependency injection, and separation of concerns.
β’ Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest; Jest or Jasmine for frontend testing).
β’ Knowledgeable about secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and vulnerability remediation using SCA tools.
β’ Experience with Git, pull request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Background in deploying .NET applications in AWS environments (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
β’ Awareness of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA / Section 508.
β’ Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture patterns.
