Senior Full-Stack Engineer, .NET/Angular – Modernization & Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Maintain and improve browser-based user interfaces utilizing jQuery, Kendo UI, and Bootstrap, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and compatibility across different browsers.

• Spearhead targeted UI modernization projects, which include upgrading frameworks and gradually transitioning to Angular and TypeScript.

• Design, develop, and manage backend services within multi-layered .NET applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.

• Create and utilize RESTful APIs with clear contracts, appropriate versioning, and robust authentication methods.

• Gradually refactor legacy code adhering to SOLID principles and clean architecture patterns while maintaining production stability.

• Design and enhance SQL Server schemas, stored procedures, and queries to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.

• Lead efforts in vulnerability remediation, including dependency updates, CVE triage, and the application of OWASP secure coding standards.

• Develop and sustain automated unit and integration tests to guarantee regression coverage and system reliability.

• Contribute to enhancements in the CI/CD pipeline, integrating automated builds, testing, and security scanning.

• Collaborate across various functions with QA, DevOps, and product teams to facilitate smooth deployments, observability, and ongoing modernization initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building production-grade .NET applications with strong proficiency in C# across both .NET Framework and .NET Core.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core.

• Solid experience with SQL Server, including schema design, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.

• Strong skills in JavaScript / TypeScript and experience with jQuery-based applications, Kendo UI, and Bootstrap.

• Profound understanding of SOLID principles, clean architecture, dependency injection, and separation of concerns.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest; familiarity with Jest or Jasmine for front-end testing.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices, awareness of OWASP Top 10, and experience in vulnerability remediation using SCA tools.

• Proficient in using Git, pull request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience deploying .NET applications in AWS environments including EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA / Section 508.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture patterns.
