Senior Full-Stack Engineer – .NET, ASP.NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain .NET 10 Web APIs, employing clean dependency injection and asynchronous programming techniques.

• Adhere to established Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Onion/Hexagonal hybrid architectures, along with SOLID principles, to maintain a decoupled codebase.

• Manage intricate SQL Server transactions, enhance query performance, and uphold versioned API contracts through OpenAPI/Swashbuckle.

• Optimize and maintain read-heavy Razor Views, View Components, and Partials.

• Leverage Tailwind CSS, HTMX, or Alpine.js to create clean, responsive user interface layouts.

• Implement traditional web patterns such as POST-Redirect-GET (PRG) and utilize antiforgery tokens for secure form submissions.

• Oversee secure API integrations with enterprise payment systems (e.g., J.P. Morgan Chase, Stripe, Square).

• Enforce stringent application-level security measures to ensure that Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and financial data (credit card numbers) are never exposed or logged.

• Safely access cloud configurations and credentials managed through Azure Key Vault and App Services.

• Create thorough unit, integration, and contract tests using MSTest/NUnit and Playwright.

• Effectively function as an independent contributor within an Azure DevOps (Agile/Kanban) framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years in software development, with a minimum of 5 years focused on .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (Web API & MVC Razor).

• Modern Stack: Strong expertise in .NET 10 and C# 14 (Async, Dependency Injection).

• Architecture: Demonstrated proficiency in established DDD, Onion, or Hexagonal architectural patterns.

• Payment Gateways: Practical experience with integration of major financial APIs (e.g., J.P. Morgan Chase, Stripe, Square).

• Web Mechanics: In-depth knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), the HTTP lifecycle, antiforgery tokens, and the POST-Redirect-GET (PRG) paradigm.

• Data Privacy: Rigorous commitment to application-level security, ensuring that PII and credit card information are not exposed or logged.

• Database & Cloud: Strong skills in optimizing SQL Server transactions coupled with Azure configuration management (App Services, API Management, Key Vault).

• Execution: Proven track record of functioning independently as a solo contributor within Azure DevOps (Agile/Kanban).
