Senior Full-Stack Engineer, .NET, Angular – Modernization, Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve web-based user interfaces developed with jQuery, Kendo UI, and Bootstrap, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and compatibility across various browsers.

• Spearhead focused UI modernization projects, including framework upgrades and phased migration to Angular and TypeScript.

• Design, create, and sustain backend services within multi-layered .NET applications utilizing C# and ASP.NET Core.

• Develop and utilize RESTful APIs featuring clear contracts, appropriate versioning, and secure authentication methods.

• Gradually refactor legacy code while adhering to SOLID principles and clean architecture patterns, ensuring production stability is maintained.

• Design and enhance SQL Server schemas, stored procedures, and queries to guarantee high performance and data accuracy.

• Lead efforts in vulnerability remediation, including upgrading dependencies, managing CVE triage, and implementing OWASP secure coding standards.

• Create and sustain automated unit and integration tests to ensure comprehensive regression coverage and system reliability.

• Contribute to enhancements in CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated builds, testing, and security scanning processes.

• Collaborate across teams with QA, DevOps, and product teams to facilitate smooth deployments, observability, and continuous modernization initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing production-grade .NET applications with substantial expertise in C# across both .NET Framework and .NET Core.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.

• Strong SQL Server skills including schema design, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.

• High proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in jQuery-based applications, Kendo UI, and Bootstrap.

• Comprehensive understanding of SOLID principles, clean architecture, dependency injection, and separation of concerns.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, and Jest or Jasmine for frontend testing.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices, understanding of OWASP Top 10, and experience in vulnerability remediation using SCA tools.

• Proficiency in using Git, managing pull request workflows, and working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in deploying .NET applications within AWS environments including EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.

• Awareness of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508.

• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture patterns.
