Senior Full Stack Engineer, Menu

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that enhance the menu experience for both mobile and web platforms.

• Develop and refine the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layer to ensure efficient data management and minimal latency in API responses.

• Work in collaboration with frontend, mobile, and product teams to architect and launch new features related to the menu.

• Enhance database queries and caching techniques to achieve high-performance API responses.

• Elevate monitoring, observability, and logging capabilities for backend services.

• Engage in code reviews and engineering discussions, sharing insights on technical best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in:

• Backend development, specializing in Kotlin or other JVM-based languages.

• Backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Developing web applications with TypeScript and ReactJS, or similar technologies.

• A strong grasp of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and the backend-for-frontend (BFF) architecture.

• Proficient in working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and optimizing queries.

• Familiarity with service-oriented architectures and microservices.

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting capabilities for backend services and APIs.

• Solid understanding of performance optimization, caching strategies, and API response efficiency.

• Previous experience with established design systems.

• Advanced English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
