Senior Full-stack Engineer – Elixir/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of software projects from the initial scoping phase through to release.

• Collaborate closely with product team members to plan tasks and facilitate discussions regarding scope and size.

• Create efficient, dependable, and scalable solutions.

• Develop software utilizing Elixir, React, and related technologies.

• Assist in defining tasks and mentoring junior team members.

• Provide accurate updates regarding the progress of tasks.

• Lead collaboration efforts with engineering and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

• Investigate and resolve complex customer issues.

• Stay informed about industry best practices in design, development, unit testing, and various other facets of software engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building contemporary SaaS applications.

• In-depth knowledge of Elixir/Erlang or another functional programming language for back-end development.

• Familiarity with GraphQL.

• Experience with React.

• Demonstrated experience with relational databases, including effective design patterns and crafting efficient queries/data access.

• Must be located in Latam.

• Proficient in English.
