Senior Full Stack Engineer – Backend, Mobile, AI-Assisted

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend services utilizing Node.js 22 and TypeScript.

• Create and oversee database schemas, migrations, and data access layers with Prisma ORM.

• Architect and execute microservices with distinct domain ownership and service boundaries.

• Develop REST APIs and facilitate internal service-to-service integrations.

• Implement scalable asynchronous workflows and event-driven processing methodologies.

• Employ architectural patterns such as CQRS and best practices for distributed systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android.

• Construct responsive and scalable user interfaces using React 18 and TypeScript.

• Develop and uphold mobile features utilizing Capacitor 8.

• Generate and support native integrations and mobile plugins when necessary.

• Manage application releases and deployments to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Engage in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.

• Contribute to engineering standards, optimize performance, and enhance application scalability.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and improve code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience.

• Expertise in TypeScript with experience in strict mode environments.

• Extensive background in Node.js backend development.

• Practical experience with Prisma ORM, including schema design and migrations.

• Strong comprehension of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.

• Knowledge of CQRS and asynchronous processing methodologies.

• Experience in developing mobile applications using React and Capacitor.

• Proven track record of deploying and maintaining applications on iOS and Android platforms.

• Solid grasp of software design principles, testing methodologies, and code quality standards.

• Candidates experienced with AI-Assisted Development must be proficient in VS Code and GitHub Copilot beyond basic autocomplete. Required skills include creating Copilot instruction files to provide repository context, building reusable prompt libraries, and utilizing Copilot Agent workflows to generate high-quality TypeScript, mobile interfaces, service handlers, and database-related code.
