Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Backend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for complete development processes across our platform.

• Focus on providing high-quality, user-centered experiences.

• Participate in system design and architecture, influencing APIs, data models, and service boundaries.

• Develop and maintain backend services, PostgreSQL databases, and infrastructure.

• Engage with the web layer by creating and integrating frontend features.

• Contribute to enhancing performance and test coverage throughout our applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a valid EU work permit and demonstrate professional proficiency in both verbal and written English.

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as within a small team.

• Comfortable taking full ownership of projects from conception to implementation.

• Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to clarify complex concepts, present decisions effectively, and write code that is both readable and maintainable.

• Extensive professional experience in modern full-stack development (7+ years) — a must-have.

• Strong skills in Node.js, along with substantial experience in relational databases, cloud engineering, and authentication systems.

• Familiarity with modern development methodologies, including unit, integration, E2E, and load testing.

• Proficient in TypeScript with a solid understanding of browser rendering pipelines.

• Awareness of our current technology stack; includes React, Next.js/Tanstack Start, PostgreSQL, Prisma, tRPC, GoogleCloud Platform, Auth0 by Okta, Playwright, and Tailwind CSS.

• Previous experience in healthcare or regulated environments is desirable but not mandatory.
