Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of customer-facing, SEO-optimized, high-performance web pages.

• Establish technical direction and standards for the engineering team.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.

• Enhance desktop and mobile experiences through responsive design.

• Architect, implement, and refine backend services and APIs.

• Address concerns related to scalability and reliability.

• Integrate frontend components with backend systems and third-party APIs.

• Offer infrastructure and APIs that support AI/ML features.

• Compose and optimize complex SQL queries.

• Participate in data modeling and performance tuning of databases.

• Identify and resolve significant technical challenges.

• Engage in architectural discussions and mentor team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with React and contemporary JavaScript frontend development.

• Experience with Next.js is preferred.

• Strong skills in backend development.

• Profound expertise in a server-side framework, preferably Ruby on Rails, Django, Laravel, or Express.

• Experience collaborating with backend/service teams.

• Familiarity with integrating existing APIs.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with non-technical stakeholders.

• Successful completion of a final-panel coding exercise utilizing React and Flask on a code repository platform.
