Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test the APIs and services that drive RoadieXD.

• Create internal and customer-facing tools, mainly using React, to enable efficient scaling of our cross-dock operations.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to address complex logistics problems and deliver impactful features.

• Shape architectural and technical design choices that enhance the scalability, reliability, and performance of the Roadie platform.

• Produce clean, maintainable code supported by automated testing, thorough code reviews, and current engineering best practices.

• Continuously refine existing systems by pinpointing opportunities to boost performance, developer experience, and long-term maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience in building and deploying production applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven experience in developing scalable, distributed systems and APIs within production settings.

• Strong expertise in at least one backend programming language (Go, Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, Python, etc.) and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React.

• Experience in designing, developing, and sustaining reliable, thoroughly tested software.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to navigate intricate technical challenges.

• Ability to make informed technical decisions while balancing immediate needs with long-term sustainability.

• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working alongside Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional teams.

• A sense of curiosity, ownership, and a proven aptitude for quickly acquiring new technologies.
