Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications that support Datavant's healthcare data ecosystem.

• Enhance user experiences by closely collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.

• Create scalable frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and data-driven solutions that manage millions of healthcare records and transactions.

• Provide guidance on technical design decisions and help establish architectural patterns that promote long-term scalability and maintainability.

• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.

• Manage significant projects from start to finish, covering technical design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing operations.

• Propel innovation and deliver impactful solutions that enhance outcomes for healthcare organizations and patients.

• Share your knowledge with the engineering community through technical discussions, mentoring, and contributions to our engineering blog.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in designing, building, and operating production software systems.

• Strong full-stack engineering background, encompassing modern frontend development and backend services.

• Experience in creating customer-facing applications using technologies like React, TypeScript, and contemporary web frameworks.

• Proficient in designing and developing scalable APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.

• Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.

• Proven experience leading projects from concept to production while effectively navigating complex technical challenges.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the capability to work efficiently across engineering, product, and design teams.

• A passion for mentoring fellow engineers and enhancing the technical abilities of the team.
