Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• You will engage in managing proposal systems, conducting venue searches with live updates, developing conversational UIs, and handling complex data management, all underpinned by AI technology.

• You will take ownership of features, overseeing tasks from database migration to the production user interface.

• Familiarize yourself with the codebase, including the monorepo structure, shared packages, and the flow of AI streaming to the UI.

• Collaborate with Lorenzo on current features—debugging issues, enhancing API routes, and refining user interface interactions.

• Successfully deliver your first complete end-to-end feature to production.

• Design database schemas using ZenStack/Prisma and create migrations for new functionalities.

• Develop API routes that include validation (Zod), pagination, and proper error handling.

• Create React pages and components that integrate with AI streaming functionalities.

• Manage features comprehensively, from data modeling to API development and UI implementation.

• Architect complex features from the ground up, including real-time streaming, drag-and-drop interfaces, and multi-step forms.

• Build integrations with external services such as email, document processing, and third-party APIs.

• Enhance the developer experience through shared packages and ensuring type safety across the monorepo.

• Begin to influence what we develop next, beyond just the how.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with robust full stack expertise.

• Production experience with Next.js App Router (Next.js 15+).

• Proficiency in React 19, particularly in managing complex state (custom hooks, context).

• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript (generics, Zod, type inference).

• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM (Prisma or similar): schema design, migrations, and query optimization.

• API design expertise: RESTful APIs, including validation, pagination, and error handling.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for responsive layouts and component styling.

• Experience with component libraries (Radix UI, shadcn/ui, or similar).

• Non-negotiable: Fluent/native Italian is required for customer-facing roles.

• Strong English skills are essential for documentation, research, and team communication.

• Must be based in Italy, remote work is available.
