Senior Full Stack Engineer, Applied AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Convert unclear stakeholder requirements into well-structured solutions, user flows, and deliverables.

• Design the system architecture, making informed decisions regarding scalability, maintainability, and security.

• Develop and implement end-to-end features for both frontend and backend while taking full ownership.

• Quickly prototype AI-enabled solutions and refine them into production-ready systems.

• Enhance and expand an existing Python-based application, addressing issues related to backlog, performance, and user experience gaps.

• Define and execute UX flows and usability enhancements (focused on user journeys rather than visual design).

• Integrate with APIs, including AI-driven services, while designing robust data flows.

• Utilize secure development practices to ensure systems remain reliable and maintainable.

• Balance the rapid delivery of projects with the long-term quality and structure of engineering.

• Contribute to and improve engineering practices (architecture, SDLC, testing) through practical involvement.

• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members while maintaining a high degree of independence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Python (5+ years) in production settings.

• Proven track record in system design and architecture (5+ years), including the ability to make trade-offs.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex, Claude, or similar) in real-world workflows.

• Strong background in API integration, including AI or data-driven services (3+ years).

• Solid frontend experience with React and modern JavaScript/HTML (3+ years or equivalent frameworks).

• Experience taking ownership of features or products from concept to delivery (3+ years).

• Strong grasp of SDLC, engineering best practices, and code quality standards.

• Ability to navigate ambiguous environments and independently shape requirements.

• Proven capability to prototype swiftly and deliver at pace (2+ years).

• Excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions (5+ years).

• Good understanding of UX flows and usability principles (2+ years).

• Experience with databases and data modeling (3+ years).

• Knowledge of secure development practices (3+ years).

• Experience managing data pipelines or ETL processes (2+ years).

• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a low-structured environment.
