Senior Full Stack Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain web applications utilizing Java (Spring Boot, JPA, etc.) and React, ensuring they are high-quality and scalable.

• Identify, design, and implement new system features while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Evaluate business requirements and suggest technical solutions that align with organizational needs.

• Maintain code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Engage in the complete software lifecycle — analysis, architecture, development, testing, and deployment.

• Develop and utilize REST APIs to ensure secure system integration.

• Work alongside agile squads, contributing to technical decisions and ongoing product enhancements.

• Monitor live production systems and address incidents to guarantee application availability.

• Document processes, architectures, and services to uphold compliance and audit standards.

• Responsibilities:

• Create APIs using Java/Spring Boot.

• Develop modern user interfaces with React.

• Establish integrations with legacy systems and interoperability platforms utilizing REST or messaging.

• Conduct both evolutionary and corrective maintenance on existing modules.

• Ensure application security and compliance by adhering to standards such as access control and auditing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is essential.

• Integrate systems with gateways, messaging platforms, and API platforms (e.g., Sensedia, internal gateway, etc.).

• Serve as a technical resource for junior developers, providing mentorship and code reviews.

• Assist the product team in the technical design of features, refining stories, and estimating efforts.

• Monitor application logs and metrics using tools like Datadog.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
