Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take complete ownership of your features throughout the entire development cycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and ongoing enhancements.

• Enhance software quality by delivering insightful and constructive code reviews.

• Clearly communicate and document technical decisions for the benefit of the team and stakeholders.

• Incorporate testing as an essential aspect of your development process.

• Engage in design and requirements workshops, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Take part in developer roundtable discussions aimed at improving our processes, tools, and techniques.

• Influence and continuously refine our development practices.

• Contribute to the overall success of the team by sharing feedback, offering assistance, and participating in lunch-and-learn sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong foundation in full stack web development, with a solid understanding of programming concepts and paradigms.

• Practical experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, along with familiarity in using Node.js and React.

• Proven ability to write clean, tested, and maintainable code.

• Capability to articulate your technical thought process clearly and integrate feedback constructively.

• An ownership mindset – you proactively offer solutions, take initiative, and are invested in the results of your work.

• A natural curiosity and the motivation to continually grow, both as an engineer and as a team member.

• Experience utilizing AI tools within your development workflow (bonus points).

• Background in developing AI-enabled features in a production environment, whether through personal projects or professional experiences (bonus points).

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, FinTech or regulated environments, and Agile methodologies (bonus points).
