Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete application stack—Node.js and Express back-end services paired with AngularJS front-end

• Design and advance event-driven systems for instrument control and orchestration

• Create and improve rich data visualizations—chromatograms, gauges, fit charts

• Challenge the limits of scientific computing—peak detection, calibration curve fitting, and data processing

• Spearhead the development of AI-powered tools to expedite delivery and enhance code quality

• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to incorporate AI/ML capabilities into the platform

• Develop and implement a migration strategy to transition the platform to a modern front-end framework—ensuring compatibility with current operations on real instruments

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development

• Proficient in JavaScript (ES5/ES6) with extensive Node.js/Express expertise—REST APIs, event-driven architecture, npm

• Front-end experience with AngularJS 1.x or similar legacy single-page application frameworks

• Familiarity with a modern front-end framework (Angular 2+, React, or Vue)

• Proficient in Python for scientific data processing (pandas, NumPy/SciPy)

• Strong background in Linux environments

• Comfortable with the maintenance and enhancement of a long-standing codebase

• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows
