Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and sustain scalable backend services, APIs, and data systems.

• Participate in frontend application development utilizing contemporary web technologies.

• Collaborate across teams including Product, Design, AI, and Engineering to deliver impactful product enhancements.

• Enhance system reliability, observability, performance, and developer tools.

• Influence technical direction, architectural choices, and engineering best practices.

• Investigate and rectify complex production challenges across the entire stack.

• Rapidly prototype, solicit feedback, and refine based on customer and business requirements.

• Guide developers through collaboration, code reviews, and technical discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in developing production software applications.

• Proficient backend development experience with modern programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.

• Experience in constructing and maintaining APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based applications.

• Frontend expertise with modern frameworks like React and TypeScript.

• Database experience with Postgres and DynamoDB.

• Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and software architecture.

• Experience working with relational and/or distributed data systems.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Comfortable operating in dynamic environments with changing priorities.
