Senior Full-Stack Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack application functionalities that encompass React, Node.js REST API, and PostgreSQL.

• Oversee Google Cloud deployments, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines utilizing Terraform and Docker.

• Convert Figma mockups into clean, responsive, and reusable React components and views.

• Construct and maintain the REST API layer that connects frontend and backend services.

• Design and enhance PostgreSQL relational data models.

• Write SQL queries and create schema migration scripts.

• Develop unit tests and sustain integration and end-to-end testing.

• Provision, deploy, and configure GCP runtime services, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage using Terraform.

• Establish, optimize, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with OnTrac project teams and external partner stakeholders to clarify requirements and determine technical strategies.

• Create and update technical documentation, including architecture, API contracts, and data models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer certification, or equivalent demonstrated expertise in Google Cloud.

• Practical experience with Docker for containerizing Node.js applications and managing containerized environments.

• Proficient in writing and managing Terraform scripts for GCP infrastructure.

• Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build or GitHub Actions.

• Strong background in building responsive React UI components from Figma designs.

• Expertise in designing, building, and securing Node.js RESTful APIs.

• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL, including relational data modeling, SQL queries, and schema migration scripts.

• Experience with integration and end-to-end testing using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Supertest.

• Familiarity with standard unit testing practices.
