Senior Full Stack Backend Engineer, PHP, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Full Stack Development: Oversee the complete feature development lifecycle from initial concept to deployment, prioritizing security and scalability.

• Architecture & Design: Guide architectural choices to ensure adherence to healthcare industry standards and the long-term viability of systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a senior position.

• Symfony: Extensive experience with Symfony, including a deep understanding of Doctrine ORM and essential Symfony components (such as Security and Event Dispatchers).

• Domain-Driven Design (DDD): Advanced knowledge and practical application of DDD principles.

• Security: Familiarity with security best practices for both frontend and backend development, particularly concerning sensitive healthcare data.

• Testing: Skilled in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.

• Frontend Development: Strong understanding of React.js, with the capability to enhance the frontend as necessary.

• Database Management: Robust experience with MySQL, encompassing design, optimization, and management.

• Containerization: Proficient in using Docker for managing development environments.

• CI/CD: Understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment workflows.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills.

• Communication: Outstanding communication skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
