Senior Full Stack AI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining custom full-stack applications with an emphasis on AI and GenAI integration.

• Building, integrating, and deploying machine learning and AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.

• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI.

• Designing and implementing robust backend services and APIs.

• Collaborating with data scientists and AI researchers to develop new functionalities and integrate AI models into applications.

• Developing and maintaining full-stack applications with a focus on AI integration.

• Designing and implementing backend services and APIs.

• Engaging in agile delivery phases and ceremonies including release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

• Staying updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies, tools, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with the capability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD).

• BA/BS degree and 15 years of relevant experience are required.

• Ability to analyze technically complex issues and devise innovative solutions.

• Full stack development experience, showcasing proficiency in both front-end (React, Typescript, CSS) and back-end development.

• Expert-level proficiency in Python for backend development.

• Experience with prompt engineering and a general understanding of working with LLMs.

• Experience in front-end development using React and CSS.

• Familiarity with dynamic languages/platforms (e.g., Python, Node.js, Ruby, PHP).

• Additional experience in various software development languages including, but not limited to: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, YAML, and JSON.

• Ability to work with cloud services and platforms (Azure or AWS), with a preference for extensive knowledge of Azure development and AI hosting infrastructure.

• Capability to develop and work with APIs, including familiarity with RESTful services, understanding of authentication methods, knowledge of data formats, and proficiency in handling APIs.
