Senior Frontend Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Drive the evolution of frontend architecture for Roof's systems.

• Collaborate within a dynamic cross-functional team that prioritizes quality in every task.

• Contribute to an early-stage company that fosters an engineering-first culture.

• Engage in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, from planning to implementation.

• Work with cross-functional team members to create technical specifications.

• Produce clean code to build functional web applications and reusable libraries.

• Develop unit, functional, and acceptance tests.

• Diagnose issues and provide support for production applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a Senior Engineering role.

• More than 5 years of software development experience.

• A proponent of agile methodologies, with a passion for delivering code frequently and confidently.

• Proven ability to decompose complex problems into manageable solutions.

• Actively suggests improvements to our engineering technologies and workplace culture.

• Thrives in a collaborative environment where mutual growth is encouraged.

• Takes pride in ownership of the product and the quality of their contributions.

• Excellent communication skills, with a strong appreciation for effective documentation.

• Familiarity with the challenges and priorities of an early-stage company.

• Extensive experience with Javascript and the React + Redux framework.

• Knowledge of SCSS.

• Proficient in working with RESTful APIs.

• Experience in building frontend testing and automation systems for unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
