Lead Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Guide and support a team of frontend developers by establishing best practices, coding standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Work closely with backend teams, product managers, and designers to seamlessly integrate frontend components with our web infrastructure.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using React and NextJS.

• Ensure the frontend's performance, usability, and accessibility across a variety of devices and browsers, with a strong emphasis on maintainability and zero downtime deployments.

• Lead technical decisions and take responsibility for the frontend roadmap, balancing speed with code quality in a dynamic environment.

• Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance team productivity, improve developer experience, and elevate the end-user product.

• Engage in and facilitate discussions about new technologies, proactively seeking opportunities to innovate and advance our technology stack.

• Serve as a liaison between engineering and product teams, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Frontend Development, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.

• Proven track record in UI/UX design and development for contemporary web applications.

• In-depth knowledge of essential web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, ReactJS, and NextJS.

• Demonstrated experience with AI tools and workflows, with the ability to integrate AI into the development process for enhanced efficiency.

• High attention to detail in UI and UX, particularly in translating Figma designs and creating complex dashboards.

• Experience in leading or mentoring developers, performing code reviews, and defining technical direction.

• Comprehensive understanding of backend concepts for effective collaboration with backend developers.
