Frontend Engineer – React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions regarding product features, planning, and technical design.

• Develop and enhance integration workflows between administrative and client-facing applications.

• Gradually refactor legacy code and improve system architecture.

• Evaluate pull/merge requests and provide mentorship when beneficial.

• Contribute to shared UI and core libraries utilized across portal and ECOM applications.

• Lead the development of our public UI component library for client-facing interfaces.

• Effectively utilize AI tools—crafting effective prompts, creating skills/agents/automations, and ensuring human oversight for quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of frontend experience in a product-oriented organization.

• Proficient in TypeScript and React fundamentals.

• Comfortable working with React Context and asynchronous data layers (such as TanStack Query or similar).

• Solid understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and hydration principles.

• Strong testing practices including unit and end-to-end (E2E) testing.

• An engineering mindset focused on pragmatic trade-offs, performance optimization, accessibility, and developer experience (DX).

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants (like Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) and a discerning approach to their use versus the need for oversight.

• Bonus: Experience in developing custom agents/skills/MCP integrations, OpenAPI-driven code generation, observability tools, or managing a large legacy codebase undergoing refactoring.
