Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the architecture and advancement of the frontend platform, encompassing the design system, application state, routing, build tools, and performance.

• Create scalable frontend systems utilizing a microservices architecture with robust API integrations, caching strategies, and effective service-failure fallbacks.

• Innovate AI-driven product experiences, which include conversational booking, agentic workflows, and streaming interfaces.

• Promote the use of AI-assisted software development by leveraging tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.

• Facilitate technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor fellow engineers.

• Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle, from inception to production, incorporating automated testing, observability, CI/CD, and AWS operational excellence.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver user experiences that are both intuitive and high-performing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in building modern web applications and intricate, stateful single-page applications.

• Proficient knowledge of Vue 3, including the Composition API, Pinia, Nuxt, and Vue's reactivity model.

• Strong skills in TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Vite, code splitting, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals.

• Excellent foundational knowledge in frontend engineering, including the development of accessible and responsive UIs.

• Daily engagement with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.

• Understanding of MCP, agent frameworks, context engineering, evaluation frameworks, and user-facing AI features.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS, CI/CD pipelines, and feature flagging.

• Strong communication abilities, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to ownership, delivery, and continuous improvement.

• Experience in business travel, fintech, or B2B SaaS is a plus.

• Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures is a plus.

• Experience in building or maintaining design systems is a plus.

• Contributions to open-source projects in the Vue or AI tooling ecosystem are a plus.
