Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain contemporary web applications utilizing Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

• Design and develop reusable, scalable UI components within the established design system.

• Integrate and display Gutenberg content from Headless WordPress via REST APIs.

• Construct responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly user experiences.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver superior features.

• Incorporate third-party services, analytics, and personalization tools.

• Enhance frontend performance, Core Web Vitals, and the overall user experience.

• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning.

• Utilize AI-driven development tools to boost engineering efficiency and code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.

• Profound knowledge of React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Headless WordPress and REST APIs.

• In-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and best practices in frontend development.

• Proven experience in creating reusable component-based architectures.

• Awareness of SEO, accessibility, and optimization for frontend performance.

• Experience with Tailwind CSS and contemporary frontend tools.

• Proficient with Git and modern development workflows.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience with AI development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar.

• A solid sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
