Senior Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop efficient, readable, maintainable, and testable client-side code utilizing TypeScript, JavaScript, and various frameworks.

• Create unit tests, and occasionally integration and performance tests.

• Conduct code reviews for colleagues.

• Tackle complex challenges with a strong focus on user experience, security, and performance.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, software developers, QA engineers, and technical writers to create and sustain top-notch Atlassian plugins used by thousands globally in renowned companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in front-end development for commercial software.

• More than 1 year of experience in commercial software development using TypeScript with React.

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals: big-O, basic data structures, and algorithms.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.

• Experience in constructing complex user interfaces.

• A keen sense of usability.

• Background in performance optimization.

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Ability to articulate thoughts clearly, including the rationale behind technical decisions.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in a multicultural setting.

• Capability to work independently and remotely without extensive oversight or micromanagement, with the ability to begin work without complete technical specifications.

• Eagerness to learn and engage in productive discussions on unfamiliar topics.

• Ability to collaborate with teammates on developing technical specifications.

• Experience with Java/Kotlin is an advantage.
