Senior Front-end Software Developer – 12-month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Accountable for developing and sustaining both internal and customer-facing web applications.

• Introduces new features and functionalities, enhances user experience, and optimizes applications.

• Oversees and creates data pipelines while executing routine updates and maintenance tasks.

• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as product management and design, to comprehend requirements and formulate solutions.

• Diagnoses and resolves issues as necessary.

• Develops automated tests to guarantee code quality and reliability.

• Engages in code reviews and remains informed about new and emerging web technologies and methodologies.

• Actively contributes to the SCRUM process.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience as a Senior Full-stack Developer.

• 5-8 years of proficiency with Typescript/Javascript, React, and NextJS is essential.

• Experience with semantic HTML Web Accessibility is mandatory.

• Familiarity with SCSS modules and Tailwind CSS is required.

• Experience with version control systems, including Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions or similar platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Results-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Strong attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience managing Docker containers and hosting services in Kubernetes using Node.js and Golang is desirable.
